The Daly News Page Two

Page two of the Daly News is devoted to the family names of my four grandparents plus the two maternal grandparents of my children.

My Maternal grandmother's maiden name was Cambridge. The earliest ancestor of this surname that I have been able to find is William Cambridge. I don't know where he was born but he married in county Cork, Ireland.

My Paternal grandmother was a Christy. William Christy came from Ballyporty, county Antrim in Ireland.

My Maternal grandfather's name was Shea/Shay. The farthest back I can go on this line is to Jermiah Shea. He was from Ireland but I don't know the county.

My Paternal grandfather's name was, of course Daly. I have been able to trace my Daly line back to Dermot Daly of county Galway in Ireland,

The mother of my two children is Nancy Taylor. Her parents last names were Taylor and Frazier
